the market is set by guide books and places like iron search and tractorhouse.com Keep in mind on the web sites these are trade prices, usually not 'taking' prices. check them out. 'book value' ave wholesale adj for excess hours (reported ave hours is 2050 e and 1440 sep)is about $50,000 trade rough is $54thou , trade premium is about 60thous cash resale is 70thou and asking retail is 80thou if this makes any sense. Price will vary as to how much free fall is in the market after the crop report today. You did not mention the header (s).

I have a smae year R62 with similar hours and my guess is your machine would be in the $65-75,000 rangeIJ I would think $80,000 would be about tops. Haven't seen many Gleaners on auctions this winter. I know the used JD's have gone up considerably this winter. Maybe I'm a little low on yours.

I just have a 313 header with a renn pickup to go with it. I will keep the flex head for the other machine. If any one is interested you can let me know. Machine has had oil samples on engine every year and all the fluids were just changed this winter.

In Il I would say retail would be in the high 50-'s to the low mid 60's. With duals and RWA around 70-75. That would be in good or better condition with variable speed header drive and no heads. The return to cyl option isn't worth much here. The standard rotor hurts it. Combines come down to current condition. I saw a 9600 JD that looked good and had around 2500 hours bring around 40, but it needed loads of work. Heard of a 7720 that had 4500 hours bring a tad over 40, but it had a whole bunch of work done to it. If mos of the belts, flighting, feeder chains and elevator chains are 1-2 years old my numbers are a bit low. I'd go on ironweb or fastline and start looking at what is for sale and at what price. Just remember asking price and sale price are two different things.
