We've had very little electrical problems so not totally familiar yet with the systems. A guy was on this site quite some time back that had found bad ground between cab and frame. Best have someone remove and clean these connections as well as check visable grounds and major currant supply into fuze panel area. Check battery connections all the way to starter including ground wire. New separate positive wire was to be run from alternator to starter positive post on '03s and likely most '04s. Maybe even some '05sIJIJ Original alternator output wire may of had poor solder connection between wire and eyelit. These machines these days do not like any sort of electrical storm from poor connections hear or there. If all the problems are related it must be one of these major connections. And yes most all computers are linked to each other for one reason or another. Good luck

Check the fuses in the engine compartment. Had a R65 that when you checked with volt meter sometimes seemed ok and next time didn't. Fuse had barely broke and with the vibration of the engine sometimes made contact and others didn't

The moniters just needed to be recalibrated,as far as the engine, checked a few things, but found nothing,he's been running it and hasn't acted up again.Guess he'll just have to keep me out of it.Grin
