Yes, They replaced the roof on my 03 R65, It had a big crack accross the left rear corner. At the same time they also had an update to replace the big drive box on the drive end of the engine, the one that runs the hydro and the seperator.

Yea we had a couple crack. Seems all the bolts across the back put a load on plastic and in our climate a crack could develop. We used the light angle iron support that new roof would require to secure the roofs that hadn't cracked. I believe we only used a couple of the screws to secure. We might of had to bore out hole in old roof a bit in order to use a spacer that would not cause stress on the plastic. Also like RJT suggests you might be best to pulley main drive pulley off far enough to see you have sealed bearing. First machines had a shielded bearing which could allow dust to migrate in if grease cavity wasn't filled early on. We pulled all ours apart at first chance to install the sealed bearings. We then removed grease zirk.

I am aware of the main drive bearings and am going to fix it. It still has a grease zerk on the top of it. The other 75 has been changed over. The roof looks like it cracked in one of the bolt holes. I am going to try to repair it beings the new roof is $1800.
