We have done it once on a header we use. It worked fine, but takes alot of time. We have for sale 2-lM 318's and a 87' lM 320 all will be good rebuilt heads. Where are you locatedIJIJ

I'm located in Ontario Canada. The freight from Nebraska would be fairly steep....but what are you asking for the 318sIJ

Hello again----the price on a 318 would be $6500. This would be a rebuilt head ready to go. We are located just 25 miles off of hwy 81, the main route to the Agco plant at Hesston KS. This would be handy for any trucks hauling north out of Hesston that need to make up a load for a better hauling rate. Just something to keep in mind. Thanks Dave

Thanks for the info. I'm still mildly interested if like you said I could piggy back a truck load from down your way... A couple questions. What areas on the 318 head were rebuiltIJ We have dealers up here that use this word and reconditioned interchangeably but they often don't mean the same (often they just slap a bit of paint on and thats a "recondition"). I've got an older 316 head that the bottom needs to ripped out and the reel has seen better days. Do you have digital pictures that you could e-mailIJ Thanks again.
