Combines R N series offset

Feeder house and throat are offset, because the material goes in the right end of the rotor.

A dealer told me many years ago that the early hugger cornheads jig was set up wrong at the factory and that the cornhead is offset some causing the combine to drive a little left to stay on the row with the cornhead. I have a 1992 R62 with 3400 engine hours and original tires. Sure, they are chewed up a little on the left side but I have had no problems. Steve
