Combines R42 cleaning grain

You have two things going on. The 20' head is about the max for an R42 and this will slow you down. And hyperizing or just a few things that direction will help considerably. Go to Tips and go from their on your processor upgrades. Also another note, the newer Green stem beans are slowing everyone down.

One fairly easy thing to do is remove every other wire in the separating grate. This is as John stated one step in the direction of hyperizing.

The extended bars _ cut paddles will help get the stuff out. If you had rotor loss in beans, you are not threshing them out at the concave completely. Check the level, side to side and front to back per the book. If you concave is worn on the left side it will have to be closed up. 42's were not chromed as std. and wore quicker than 52's. You have a 52 except for origional hp and grain bin size. You should not have a loss problem in beans. You cannot over load the clean grain elevator. The tailings would only be overloaded if you run the top screen over 3_4" and the sieve too close so as to run clean grain along with a bonch of tailings. Is your high idle at 2710RPMIJ Are your heilical bars wornIJ Just some randon thoughts.
