R5 and R50 two diff. machines entirely. R5 was nice unit; kind of a factory debugged N5. Only thing was hated split main clutch shaft but that wasn't a killer- be sure to grease the sep clutch pilot brg - out of sight out of mind. There are several things I would do to the R5 depending on crop and capacity needed. If the price is right and you want to do a little self help activity, then at 1500 hours it is a whale of a machine in corn, good in wheat as is and can be made into a neighbor beater in soybeans.. read the posts pertaining to P1 processors and ask questions as they come to ya.
