Not sure if this helps, but it is some info for you think about. August 2006, Garritson Equipment (ACGO) sold out to West Point Equipment. The auction had a fairly decent R50 that had been through the shop. It had a head with it, dont remember the size. But the auctioneer only got $4500 for it. I was surprised it went that low, but a decent l3 went to $8000. A rough l2 brought $3500. But to me the real surprise was a good CIH 1660 only fetched $6800 with no heads and most options. This was in an area that there is a strong presence of red machines. For reference to newer stuffIJ A R65 with about 300 hours went for $114,000, another R65 with about 450 hours went for just under $104,000 both I think were 2003-5 machines. I was only there to try to pick up a cheap corn head for our just purchased R42 then. (plus some odds and ends that we could use.) I missed out on one that would have worked for us. I have to remember to ignore the cell phone sometimes!
