Combines R50 distribution drive

yes there was a 'kit' for first two years production of R40_50's. We installed them, then went back to using 2 idlers, the origional and the new idler on the weld on brkt and a longer chain forming a U around the spkt on the dist conveyor. This works much better. 71361636 was the kit n You might want to locate a bulletin, main, n13, for a bunch of other updates that was supposed to be done to all early models. 71336105 is the plate that shows where the new idler take up bracket was relocated to.

Thanks, I will do some looking. Had the combine for 10 years, but only think about when it causes a problem in the fall. It was traded then brought back due to problems with the R72 replacement. Has mainly sat in shed for last few years, but small engine fire last fall will put it in shop next week. going to give it the once over ,which hasn't been done for a few years.
