Same can be done on the engine compartment, I have seen a few "factory" instalation on R62's. I don't remember any details except it took me a while to find the switch......

What did you do on the ladder liftIJ I've been meaning to ask the same question about the engine compartment door. It's not made for short guys!

We bought the electric actuator from WW Grainger (its been 3 or 4 years so I don't remember which one),but I think it has 24 inch travel. We made an anchor for it and mounted on platform near the heater and air conditioner lines, then using an old ladder that got bent we took the part that works as the latch and bolted on the other sid of ladder to make connection for actuator rod. From the old ladder take the bottom step and bolt on ladder for extension closer to ground. I bought 4 switches, each are double pole-double throw, from Radio Shack. They are wired per wiring diagram in Op manual. I inserted two side by side in switch panel and used a handy box and mounted other two side be side in cover, and bolted near auger shield. This is the only way I could get the switches, $3.95 each vs $54 each at Agco. Both switches in each place have to be moved together at the same time in the same direction. Just make sure that no one outside tries to move ladder while you do in cab as it will blow the fuse.
