check the cab ground, and the ground on the relay. By having the 'relay' I assume it is the model prior to the seat relay disconnectIJ On the proir model the current goes to the relay and it 'latches' until either the switch on the auger swivel tube breaks the relay or the on off switch does. It takes a good ground to make it stay in latched position.

Yes it is an early model, it has the relay behind the fuse access panel door. Where would the ground be for the relayIJ I didn't have time to check it out today but I'd like to as soon as I can.

I finally got a chance to check the ground wire on the relay and you were right. It had been chewed off. I put a new end on it and reconnected it and now the switch works just like it should. Thanks a lot for the help.
