Combines r50 unloading auger

Check out the switch that turns the fold from Automatic to manual. Also there is an unloader safety switch on the elbow of unload auger. You need to find the problem or operate in manual until you do, the universal joint inside the auger is not easy to change and cost over $300.00. I broke one because my safety swich was broke and let me fold it back with it running, this will always result in a broke universal.

The R50 with auto swing has an interlock unloader module under the console, may be worth a look. I just hope you do not break the u-joint.......

Dave, Thanks for the help, but we are running in manuel swing and it still wants to fold back when you hit the auger shut-down switch. What we do is hit the swing switch very quickly (like we just poke it fast) and the auger shuts off and the swing just jumps a little bit and we wait for it to stop turning and then we swing the auger in.

By looking at the electrial drawings, the unloader module is the only thing I see common with the swing and unload clutch.

You may have to just unplug the module that the auto manual swith is in to see if it is the module. Unless you have some rodent damaged wires. If it is damaged and crossed wires I would bet you would see the auger make a move inward when you hit the auger stop button even with the module unpluged. You will lose the auto swing function and auto stop if swing is hit when unloading but I believe you could get by until you get module rebuilt or replaced. Good luck.
