Combines R52 and 525 Flex

The SCH cutterbar is the best money you could ever spend. All you have to do is install and forget about it. Have one on a 525 and a 320 and after about 2500 acres on each, have never had to touch either short of a broken section from time to time. With these, I run up to 6 mph in soybeans with no problem. Try doing that with Agco cutterbar! Also, if you have any grass in fields, SCH will cut it like a grooming mower and not just chew on it like factory setup.

For several years I ran a 20' head on an R50. Don't be scared of the narrow feeder house. It will eat up everything that the rotor will take in. I don't believe a 25' head will be a problem for a 52 with the larger engine compared to the 50. You should be able to travel a nice 3.5-4mph depending how dry the stems are. One word of advice. Have the shields on the throat of the header installed so that the outside edges of the feeder chain are covered. That makes a world of difference.

I think I'm sold on an SCH. We always kind of struggled with our 62 and 25' head w_ a Crary sickle. When we got our 72 and 30' head the dealer said they made some improvements over the 500 series sickle. Well they may have but I can't tell it. We adjusted the tilt and everything else. Nothing helped. In grey stem beans w_ a new sickle you can run 5mph which is about right. We finished up in notill beans running 3.8mph and did OK, but if you went any faster you started running some over and the machine was not full. Maybe the best $1500 I can spend.

i installed a sch on my 324 green stripe this fall and was not impressed other than the grass and green stems cut easier it didnt seem to feed right or cut well at speeds over 4-4.5 mph
