Combines R52 and 8 Row 30 Corn Head

Have been running a 8 row in 120 to 180 bushel corn for 7 yrs. and never had a problem. Have to watch back end as you can throw it out by going to fast though. I have duals so I need a 8 row but make sure you have the heavy duty axle because it sure is heavy.

I ran an 8-30 hugger cornhead on an R50 for several years with no problem. I had 24.5 single tires.

The back of the owners manual has a head matching chart for tire and axle combinations. I think they recommend 30.5 x 32 drive tire and the heavy duty final drives. We run a 630 hugger with this set up and Mud Hog rear wheel assist. Feels real comfortable with the six row.
