No, unless you are in rice or crops that injest dirt along with them you have a problem of adjustment, warpage or other damage. Where is it worn throughIJ Have 52's and 62's with 2500+ hours and never to my knowledge ever sold any feeder housing sheet metal. Crops like some windrowed bean varieites, now are a different story.

have put rear feed floors on an r-50,52 about 4 62's and a couple 72's and all of them were caused by a rock breaking thru the floor and then just breaking out the rest of it. agco has a floor you can order if this is what you are talking about.

The floor is worn just in front of the front drum for the rear infeed. I will put on chain guides while I'm there and a few bearings too. I have the floor panel from agco, any secrets to putting it inIJ This machine does soybeans and corn, and an occasional foreign object I would guess from the dents in the floor piece.

Most out crops would cause floor to be wore out in at least twice that time. Now floors are 1_4" thick so they should go alot longer.

pull the throat off and remove the rear chain, drum, and arms. i use a plasma cutter and cut the old one out then grind everything flush. take 2 port-a-powers one at top and one towards the bottom and spread the housing aprt and slide the new one in. put it in place and tac weld it on then check for correctness. i would also suggest that you put the two seal rods back in place before welding. hope this helps. brian
