Combines R52 low Voltage

IF the alt is charging it is NOT getting to the Batt. Alternator has to receive battery voltage thru the plug in and output through the big red wire that goes to the starter and then to the batt. Something is amiss within these parameters.

I had that problem last year with my 93 R42 and I replaced the relay (part number 71347910). I also installed new batteries Because one was getting weak but I think the relay was the main problem. Make sure alt belt is pretty snug.

We have had this same problem. We ran an extra wire-6 gauge from cab solenoid (hot side) to engine circiut breaker. And from other side of circiut breaker (hot side)to alternator. This fixed the low voltage problem.
