your question is like shutting the door after the horse got out. but, the difference will be night and day between those machines. wish i could go from my 94 r-62 to a 5 series. my old girl is still a purrin@ 2600+ hrs. hey a little yearly go over by the dealer and myself go along way. the guys on this board know their stuff about makin them better, as you know. Up in Canada we ran a R50 then a R52 and now run a R62. The 62 doesn't moan anything near to what the previous machines did. But I still believe that a late model l2 or l3 would pass even the large rotories when it gets really damp
