I have an R50, should be about the same. I set the cyl. clearance at 3_4 inch I have run at 7_8 inch. I think the R52 has a numbering system other than inch opening, but it can be open pretty wide. I run rotor as slow as it will run, slow your spreader down and chopper if you have one. Air on about 6. You can run about 4.5 mph. I think you will like the quality of grain in the tank. Rotor does a good clean job with little if any cracking, if you find a lot of cracks open up cyl clearance, it should not crack very many if any.. Good luck and happy shelling.
