You can expect about the same from the R6 as you experienced with the F2, they are good machines when they run, but the problem is trying to keep them in the field. The later series of Gleaner rotaries are far more reliable. If you buy it, make sure you have good dealer support!

I have an early R60 that is basically an R6 with a Deutz engine. In the past 7 years I have had a total of 3 breakdowns2 belts and 1 bearing.

i have one it has lots of capacity will keep up with most other after we turned pump up my complant is they need dischare rattel as far as breakdown its like most belts and bearings but i have got lot of use from it about 5000hrs on mine
