This will make a difference what year you R60 is. If you have the black boxes in fuse compartment (they would be about 2"x4"x6") One would be reel speed control box and it would have tweaker screws on it to set minimum reel speed and ground speed match. The other box is safty module. This is the box you may have problem with. If your not into following currant flow I would swap with a known working machine first. Otherwise if you have a prior to '89.5 machine the unload clutch module is a little box below the fuses and wiring plugs. If you are not into following currant I would replace this module. We had a couple fail over the years. I believe currant from switch has to go threw safty switch near the auger swivel when auger is folded out so be sure you have currant going threw that weather you have older or newer machine. That switch was changed from a cylinder type push button to micro switch and there is a kit to do this if you have cylinder type. Good luck

'87 or '88. Micro switch out on the auger cradle. Would those black boxes be near bottom and against outer wall in the fuse panelIJ I believe current is OK out there as when a pea or some stuff gets under the microswitch, the "auger out" light stays on. Dan, I notice you didn't say on the price; should I be sitting down... ;-) thanks! Tom

Switch is where auger swivels not the cradle! The module for a '87 or '88 is a six wire module mounted below the fuses. The P_N 71345084. Yes it is over $100 (what isn't these days). We have one or more on hand.

as I stated in prior post, we have had several of these small modules fail to ooperate due to bad ground. last week I had a call from customer and we told him to remove the module and clean the ground and check the cab ground and plug and unplug the module. Of course I didn't tell him to do one thing at a time so we don't know what fixed it, but the unit now works. The module is a transitor latching relay, power it one way and current flows until the off switch is pressed and tiny relay unlatchs. Having said that, we have sold 2 of these since they went into use. up to sn15801 on the R60s
