We did one years ago and vowed never to do one again. Trying to get engine positioned and still allow air to come through radiator and then get fan lined up to pull air through shroud.Ended up having a special main drive belt due to engine positioning.What we should have done was to totally remove RH rear side sheet and start from scratch on incorporating rotary screen to lower position so air flow was straight through to radiator. Hydraulic oil cooler would continually plug because air was coming in high and then we could not get it down and through oil cooler. Pain in the butt to clean because of no access to raise rotary screen. Hyper Harvest II

Thanks for your opinion, Hyper Harvest II! I think we will heed to your advise. The Deutz has only 2600 hours on it; - perhaps it would be money better spent on an overhaul.

Agreed! If a veteran Gleanerologist has difficulty, it's no task for a novice!
