Your service manual gives a pretty good breakdown of what you have to do to replace feed chain sprockets. It is much easier when the cylinder is out. Yes, concave comes out into the engine compartment. I cant answer your other questions. I traded to an R60 from a super good l2 and am totally glad I made the change. Tom Russell
