First make sure the cooling fan fins have not worn down, second make sure that the engine is blown out at least once a day during the work season(this means removing the side shield and cleaning too),third make sure there are no oil or fuel leaks(oil or diesel leaks mix with chaff and plug the cooling system),that covers the engine. Now make sure the accelerator rolls are good(can't see light between them) The rest is fairly common to all combine adjustment and maintenance.

What did your cousin have to pay for the R60IJ P1 or P3IJ Check the tie rod ends on the steer axle. On my '87 R60 the cylinders were stroking to far causing tie rod ends to bend and eventually break. The tapered holes that tie rod ends fit into are destroyed. Scroll down to R60 tie rod thread. When the time comes to replace rotor bars, consider installing Sunny Brook rotor.

Its a 1989 model. It has a 15 ft header with a melroe pickup on it. Paid $27,000 Canadian....($17,330. U.S. funds). Not sure which proccessor.
