Combines R60 or R62

oh, perhaps i forgot to mention that we are considiering trading up, we also have an extra 314 with poly, double cut sickle, teardrop reel the works that we also bought brand new, and were just thining, well maybe a R62 is the way to go, we also do several hundred acres of custom work, no wheat either

Move up to an R62 if at all possible. A lot better built than an R60 with a lot fewer moving parts. Try to get up to a late 90's model as they were updated pretty well over the earlier models. But you'll like any of them over th l's especially if your running on slopes and etc.

I'm sure your l2s are great but demand is getting low around hear. R60s are very refined N6s with Deutz engines. The last couple years of the R60 has similiar prosesser as R62s (P3). The R60 is a terrific machine if it has been set up to flow the straw. The older the R62 the more work that may need to be done to flow straw well. You'll need to look at the machines your interested in and do some comparing. There are surely R62s in much worse conditon than some R60s out there. Of course the newer the better most of the time but not allways. Good luck
