Combines R60 Read distribution auger breakage

P3 rotor in this newer 60 will chew up canola straw excessively as compare to earlier 60 with P1 which had similiar distribution auger. Suggestion from Gleaner back then was to order two 71354101 paddles, cut flighting just to left existing paddles to make room for new paddles fastened directly accross from each other. This helps prevent overload on auger to left side of concave. This was a problem in Canola and some soybean conditions according to info I found. We did this to all our R60-70s with P3s. Other things your R60 may need is extended bars to area ahead of discharge opening, all forward cylinder bars, rotor sweeps, and maybe some steeper helicals on thesher side to prevent double thresh on the allready way longer concave than we had on P1 systems. Some guys actually covered large areas of seperator side with belting or hard covers to prevent any material from getting out when getting near discharge. Canola straw was almost turned to powder by time it got to discharge on these earlier machines prior to doing the enhancements to flow straw well.
