1.Dont know on the adapter, but probably not. 2.Variable speed header drive only used with the corn head, lock out for grain table.there should be a hose under the cab on left side that will couple into the back sheave on header drive.Reel raiseandlower switch controls. 3.I think both hoses are for reel height, speed system is self contained on the head and controlled electically.

I notice the later model l2s and l3's have only the one hose going to the header instead of two. What is the differenceIJ

I was wrong with the 2 hoses ,there is just a single hose for reel height.Been 2-3 years since I ran one.sorry

The later l2 and l3 had self-contained heads with an oil pump on the head to run the reel. These head only had one hose going to the combine for the hieght and a wire for the speed. The early l's and l2 had two hoses one that ran the height and the other ran a variable speed pulley setup that controlled the reel speed. Hope this helps Andy

We run a 853 and 653 row crop head on our R62. It is the same Bish adapter we used when we had an R50 so it should work on an R60. The adapter you have won't work because of the feeder house opening offset and narrower throat. www.harvsfarmsupply.com is the site that sells Bish adapters. They should be able to help you out.
