Here in Spain you can rebuilt All the engine for $4000. Well, i think it's too expensive for a fan.

$4000.00IJIJIJIJIJIJIJIJIJIJIJIJ Agco has absolutely no shame. I think they are intent on screwing themselves right out of business. Check if any industrial dealers can help you on this. Weren't some of these engines popular for irrigation and suchIJ Best of luck.

We had an R62 eat the fan in 1997. New one had to be shipped from overseas. Dealer sold it at cost and was still around $2500.00. Alot of down time! We now run with the Cummins!

Buying Deutz parts through AGCO is WAAY too expensive. The place I bought parts when I re-built my R50 has a motto "It's not a rocket engine, why pay rocket engine prices". I think it's important to support your local dealer but there is a way to do this and save a bunch of money too. Tell your dealer to investigate sourcing Deutz engine parts from somewhere else other than AGCO. In fact my Gleaner parts man used to even buy common sprockets and shafts from a third party, cheaper, and just as good. I saved money and kept him in business at the same time.
