Combines R62 plugged fuel line

I can't remember the range but a few of the combines got out with the inlet and outlet hoses reversed. Barring that on some tanks where floaties of some fashion suck down over the outlet, I have used a length of thin mig weld wire inserted from the outlet tube into the tank a few inches and left there. The wire sticking through will prevent a piece of silicone from sucking in the hole. About the best you can do is go in through the fuel sending hole.

Run fuel down as far as you can and then pull fitting out of tank. Be ready for fuel bath if you don't get all fuel drained. There should be a screen on fitting. like tbran said hoses were switched around at one time. I haven't found any switched but if they are the screen would be on return line.
