look in the book for the origional placement of reverse bars. THOSE are the places we are now leaving blank. I do not remember any factory rh reverse bars - extreme rightIJ You are correct about the 'disrupters' on the threshing area plus the fact they cannot be higher than the origional bars or they WIll HIT THE THRESHING GRATE. I assume you are talking RH from behind the cyl. in the input side. Except in really hard to thresh crops such as durham wheat etc we also reccomend 3_4" bars - period and even 1" special aftermarket bars work well in the separator side.

Thanks tbran I will go by the book for possitioning in the thresher area, also I didn't think about the grate problem. We grow Hard red Wheat which is not as hard to do as Durham but very close. I was wondering what you thought of cutting and fitting cly bars say off of a 815 IH or Massey in for filler bars in these hard to thresh crops I would say maybe three max.in the first three slots. The only problem I see is that they would be higher than a conventional filler bar and you may not get the stop and start action. However on the other hand they would give a very agressive rub to the wheat head

some machines run 1_2 in thresher and 3_4 or 1" on sep side. Your call...
