No reverse or at least be ready to remove. Set concave at 2 give or take 1. Set front of concave one notch toward MIN from MID if needed. Three blanks and 900ish RPM with tailings set to return to cylinder.
Thank You, On the pre delivery my dealer was going to put 5 blanks in the concave so we can soon take 2 out. You touched on two of my concerns, ie. reverse bars slow down the crop flow too much and the blanks hold threshed seed in to long. In my IH rotary I had to blank 50% of the concave section to thresh this variety of wheat, that is how tough it is.
