Combines R65 power

I'm no expert on CDF but I'll take a stab. First make sure engine has latest software introducted last winter and to be installed by dealer in a campaign. Second you may be getting enough resistance from green material so factory installed reverse bars not nesesary. You can't believe how much HP reverse bars can take at times. Myself I'd rather start without reverse bars and adjust for posible loss with concave clearance, cylinder speed, or seperator grate clearance first. Just two reverse bars spinning in one circle can kill a combine with 25" eight bar rotor in tough conditions. I think if I had the 24" CDF and didn't like the power consumption for the crop it is eating I would start removing reverse bars or just remove them all and then reinstall if you have loss and can't adjust for it. Otherwise I know of other things I would do if you had a stock 25" cylinder. Be sure chopper is on fast or if equiped with discharge beater I would be sure knotched edge of blades are outward. Good luck

Make sure entire campaign has been done, clean fuel suction screen,(On the floor in front of engine on left hand side). I have also turned the high idle up on all of the SISU'S to 2300 rpm, that has made the biggest difference in horse power complaints.
