yes but is it light material , I know it is hard to do but look at the load on the shoe while running, 90+ % of the material is blown out the top which will not affect anything. If it is on the shoe try closing the cylinder a n or two. There are also pan extenders to move more material to the right or left as needed under the auger . I guess I should of ask'd what crop -

I think tbran is spot on. If you think about it there should not be much grain coming out of the cage at that end but the straw has been worked pretty good by the time it reaches that end of the cage and there are more smaller pieces that can go through the cage. I have noticed the same thing on my N6 when I look inside when the machine is shut down. The only time that side of the shoe gets overloaded is when I am going too fast on a sidehill in well yeilding crops. Pete Hinrichsen
