You and I both. I never thought it would go that cheap. It was a nice machine also. Should of brought it home and traded it to my local dealer, plenty of money left in it. The other bargin of the day was the 38' Sunflower disc-like new- for $14K. THis was the second sale I've been to with AMA auctioneers. SlOWWWWWW is their middle name. Never seen so much begging for $100 bids.

This was in northeastern Colo. and I don't know why I didn't buy it. Have been looking at buying another tractor and wasn't thinking of buying combine now, but I should have.

Agree with you on how slow AMA is. Have been to a few of their sales and it's always slow. Went to a gehling auction and they run through things very well.

Man you guys I am NE Kansas and would have loved to have that machine, We just traded for a R 75 but would still like a second bean machine, been looking at the new Massey's for a second because they seem so simple, but the Gleaners I know have the capacity to handle our green stems here and that machine was just toooooo darn cheap. Does anyone have any comments here about the Masseys here preferrably someone that has demoed a 9790 along side a 72 or 75 Thanks

We ran a 72 and 62 with a 8780xp which was replaced by the 9690. The 8780 would do any thing the 62 would do in 45 bu_acre wheat. It was limited by its shoe capacity the new machines have a bigger shoe I believe. The agco rep for it said that wheat wasn't its best crop but it did fine for me.
