Put goodyear radials on 2 years ago, nice tire, but I will say that it seems like it doesn't perform in mud as well as the bias. A lot matters on the tread pattern, this tire we bought has a lot of lugs, but the other goodyear radials we have have fewer, but deeper lugs, and it performs well in mud comparable to the bias. But the deeper lugs give it a big rattle on the road. I think if doing it again, I would just get the bias. Good luck Jacob

Friend put a set of radials on a N-6 one time, didn't run them long, said they were wishy washy in the field.

I think that the only reason industry pushes any product, is so they make more money from their customer. Radial vs Bias, from my point of view, there is little difference when it comes to type performance. Radials cost more, but produce little if any cutting edge performance, what baloney, there is little advantage over bias. Save some money, they are combine tires for goodness sake, performance is not a requirement! My 2 scents worth.

If you farm terraced ground or slopes over 5 or 6 %. The greater bar angle won't side slip as badly on steep slopes. I don't know if its worth the extra bucks. We're running 30.5 bias on R62 and wish I had less compaction.

I bought the set of spacers with long bolts at Cooks Salvage in Clinton Mo for 300.00. I tried to chew him down a bit but stood frim on his price. He did have another set at the time, about Oct 1st but didnt have the bolts 7_8x 9" if I remember right Grd 8. I think if you buy the bolts they are about 4.00 ea at most farm stores. Double check your wheel hole size and bolt patern diameter, some 42 and 52's came with small final drives that these wont work with, I think the wheel hole size is 9 1_4 or 9 3_8 for the larger finals. Guys, thanks for the comments on Radials vs Bias, any others welcome also.

I run stalk stompers on my corn head. They work great and really save the tires. Just a suggestion to save wear on the new tires. New tire rubber always seems to be a little soft until it has time to harden out. Merry Christmas!!
