Combines RadialsIJ

A neighbor of mine has run firestone 30.5 radials on a 9510SH for at least one year and says it rides better. Not why he got them, which was for load carrying ability. I have a new set on mine but have not used them in the field yet. If it is dry I can't see how it would make any difference in the way it leaves tracks.. These are 16 ply, by the way. gs

Stay away from the BF Goodrich radials. I had them for two years in the hills and one blew out the first year and then the other side blew this year. Decided my life was more valuable and spent the money to go back to bias ply tires. The radials rode good and seem to be a good tire, but the side walls just wasn't strong enough. We ran as much as 25 psi, per the company we purchased them from and they still blew out the side wall. Just my 2 cents.

I do not like radials at all. They have no support or stability on sidehills whatsoever. We run the bias 30.5's on our machines with 35 psi. Have never had a problem at all. We also have the tires that they spelled Firestone correctly on.

Have been running 9650sts with radials,,,not a bit of trouble,,,nice ride,,large foot print,,,,maybe not the best for side hill,,,but you should go to duals for that anyway,,,put it over sunflower stalks,,,no trouble at all.
