Combines Radiator plugging in yellow top 7720

I just had my radiator out last fall to get a leak fixed, I have never had trouble keeping my 7720 cool. Are your radiator cores staying dry on the outsideIJ If they are damp from a leak dust will stick like glue. I have had a few spots plug, but not a majority of the radiator and mine is the staggered tube type, I never saw one that was inline. The radiator man said that mine was plugged on each side about 3 inches in from the edges and the cooling was being done down through the middle of the core. The only time I ever had mine get warm was last fall, I forgot to swing the lever back in place at the bottom of the rotary screen after I shut the door, the screen was covered with trash, after I flipped the lever around I could almost watch the temp gauge fall and haven't had trouble since

Pull it out and have it gone through at a radiator shop. I bet your core is plugged up and a trip to the cooker is in order. A good clean core should keep the motor cool for years with a daily blow with the air hose.

We had the same problem on one our combines. The radiator core was rotten and had some slow leaks that made it collect soybean dust. We put a new radiator in it and the temp gauge stays rith where it is supposed to.
