Blue, I know what your problem is. When CaseIH came out with the Auto-Temp-Control setup in the MX Magnum in 1999, they used what they called a "PWM driver" to run the fan motor. This was changed in 2000 production to what they called a "linear driver" to eliminate this noise(which it did). Unfortunately, the combines still used the "PWM driver" at least until early 2001 production. There is a service bulletin on MX Magnums showing a new driver to install to fix this problem. Unfortunately, it does not fit a combine they way it is made. It will fit your combine, but you have to make a bracket to fit it to(at least I don't think there is a bracket yet for the combines). You'll need the new driver and have to be a little creative to make it work in your combine, but it can be done. Good luck!
