To change seporator rattel floor- raise feederand hold up safely .remove front lift cyl. pins andlower cyls. out of way. remove rattel chain and idlers. To drive roll pins out of rattel chain drive sprockets I drlled a dimple in the head of apin punch,held it with snap-onsand used an air hammer to hit it. NOTE- these 7 tooth sprockets can be installed out of time 1_2 tooth so line them up when reinstalling. remove bearing on one side and bolts holding bearing on other side.drive shaft out through sprockets. remove all screws holding floorandpull out the front (comalong or tractor gently). I had alocal metal shop make anew floor- each end turned partway and small pieces welded on bottom side to make tube for shaft ,sides andcross reinforcing were 1" angle iron. sides drilled to match andnuts welded on.I got 3_8" fender bolts (auto supply).these are threaded to a point. To pull new floor in I welded eyesand a T handle to a pipe placed through inspection holes above walkers. rope through shaft tube of floorandtied to pipe eyes.turned pipe to pull floor in. this can be used to pull rattel chain in also. Remember to line up sprocket teeth when putting on shaft.
