Are the rear wheels toed in correctlyIJ When it happened before was it in the field or on the road like this timeIJ If it is only on the road then I would think the toe in might be suspect. If they arent set right it could be causing excess strain at road speeds. Did you do any other damage to the combineIJ Thats my best guess.

Don't know about CTS but have a friend with 3 9750 STS machines and he has broken 11, thats right 11 rear axles and or back wheels this fall in corn. Has 68x50-32 fronts and 28lx26 rears with rear wheel assist and set out wide for 40 inch rows. They are under warranty and Deere has sent factory men to look at them but they keep braking. Totaled one machine out as tire and wheel took off elevators, bent grain tank, broke back panels and broke frame. Maybe just too much torque with big tires set out wide and mud problems in Mississippi delta.
