If you haven't disassembled the gearbox,the rolls should still be timed. I put the knives on with the bolts barely snug so the knife is held down on the shaft but it can be slid in or out as needed. I prefer to disconnect the couplings underneath so I can turn just one row at a time. You might want to rotate the rolls around to the closest point between the knives,stick a piece of tin between as a spacer,pry the knives together,and then zip the bolts down with the impact wrench before anything moves. I forget exactly what the proper clearance is,but as long as they don't hit ,then it is good enough.
