There was one thing about dwight I always thought was weird is that one day he was your best freind the next day he would not give you the time off day.

Dwight was always a little moody, but I think he tried to "cut too wide a swath" himself. He always boasted that you could deal "directly with the boss", but for a dealership his size, one salesman probably wasn't enough. Bruce Gowland was the same way in Grand Valley, although I always found Bruce to be very friendly and accommodating. Dwight represents one of the last few "mom and pop" sole proprietorship dealerships. I will never deal with Vincents.

Some how I agree with. I bought ower 1666 there in 1994.We also bought two tractors from them and will never deal there again.The best place left in down in sparta. They are still a family run dealership.You can deal with one of the sons and he knows combines insideout.

I'm in TOTAl agreement with you there; - Vandenbrinks have a good thing going on in Sparta. I've never purchased any whole-goods from him, but that's where I'm buying my parts. He treats me as if I've bought every piece of my red equipment from him.

Isn't it amazing how the "popular" dealers are always the guys that end up in trouble......Gowland, Becker and now Wards. I feel sorry that you have Sparta targeted as the next victim! I agree that to old dealers may not always be the trendy place to deal.....but I'm sure they will be here to serve you and protect your investment. If you are buying red iron, you know you are buying some of the best stuff made, but when you know the deal is to good to be true......well you know the rest !
