with a 30ft flex you should be able to cut 6.0 mph being reasonable but it will cut 7.0 in 40bu beans but thats a little fast for me. Id love to have a 935 flex. The STS also wont lose its guts if the stems are alittle green

Why are you abandoning CIH nowIJ CIH has a lot more going for it nowadays. like corn head, hyd. feeder house reverser and most of all lower maintenance costs.2 year old out of warranty STS's are really a loser because of repair costs. HP and sickle speed are both limiting ground speed on a STS.

I was just wondering if you have ever checked to see how much header loss you are getting when you cut soybeans at 6 MPH. Seems like it might be a lot.
