We have a Redekop chopper on our 1987 1680 and absolutely love it. All the chaff and fines also go thru it. We do take it off when we do corn and put the spiners back on.
I've got a Redekop on a 1480. It really does a good job. They are the ultimate chopper. I worked with Denny at GandD and he was very good to deal with.
