They work very well I'm told. I know a guy who put one on a TR86 said pretty much just dust comes out the back. Where he is in sask. taking a 30ft+ swath its a must for notill. I know another fellow who has one on a 1480, again says it was worth every penny. All straw choppers take HP when in tough condtions. My buddy who runs JD's with the fine cut choppers says in wet condtions the chopper really slows them down grinding up all that straw. Only draw back I can see is if you want to drop straw you have to take it off. And of course the price which is not cheap!

I work at a new holland dealer, 90% of the tr combines sold get reddekopp choppers. they work extremely well on tr's. i would imagine they work good on caseih's.
