As far as your corn settings on your machine do you happen to have the veins in the far back position, It can make all of the difference in the world. I had the bearing go out on the pulley on my 2388 2 years back and it so happened when we got back to the lot getting ready to load up, luckily all it did damage wise was tore up the shroud a little but didnt harm the radiator...
