Combines Reel slows down when Header Control is raising

Hyper Is this head still using its original "on head" complete reel drive system driven by the right side feeder house drive shaftIJ Or has it been updated to run off the hydraulics of the R52IJ

Yes,the reel is fed by the combine hydraulics. Strange thing is that when harvest first started this slowing down of the reel did not exist. Now switched back from corn to beans again and the reel now slows down and sometimes almost stops when going through a low spot. Trying to pinpoint a correlation between the two. Hyper Harvest II

I have the same thing happen on my 93 R62 with a 800 head. When the auto flexhead calls for the combine to lift the head to follow ground contours, there is a temporary starvation of oil flow to the reel. Is there a priority valve setup that is not working properlyIJ

run a wire from header switch to power wire at reel speed modual and this will cure problem. to much amp draw with master valvue, header raise valvue and reel speed valvue coils energised at same time. this has fix several older machines for me.
