Check wiring harness at feeder pivot where it flexes everytime header is moved. Harness may look fine but wire likely broke from flexing so many times. Thats about the only thing I can think of beings it works when header is raised but not when lowered and that would make it a new enough M2 to have the reel hydralics on the head.
