Combines REIN

I experience color-wars every time my two machines are in the same field, and what annoys "inquiring minds" (when they ask which is the better machine) is when I tell them that they BOTH have thier faults, and thier features. What I have a hard time believing is anyone who says that an R can't combine corn without continual settings from field to field. My N6 would shine in corn, and when you combine corn for (and satisfy) Kelloggs, you know you're doing something right.

Well the crappy local gleaner dealers couldnt set the piece of $*it N6. But i wish you could have come and set it because it sounds like your just smart or a smart a$$ or you never check behind the conbine.Well we can set the Deere just fine and it does a great job. You can keep those silver seeders and i will keep the Deluxe Deeres.

Big Green, You tend to be an expert on $*it and crap. Is this what years of operating Deeres do for youIJ Making you an expert in that field! Or as professor stated many years ago in school. "Define EXPERT, X is former or unknown and a SPURT is a DRIP UNDER PRESSURE" I have found many cases in life where that definition is more than true! There are none so blind as those who don't want to see! I own Deere products and they have good and bad points, and my JD dealer has to of graduated from the same school as the Gleaner dealer you speak of. Unless you are trading complete lines of machinery every two to three years, he MIGHT get parts and service for you, but DON'T hold your breath! And forget about that dealer being able to set an STS, it won't happen! Every STS that he has sold has been traded back for a conventional or color change. Enjoy your CORN MEAl fines from the 9600. The only loads to get docked for crackage and fines in 25+ years of farming came thru a 9500 and 9600 JD. The JD6600SH, TR85, CIH1680 and N6 didn't have those problems! All machines were owned and operated by very experienced operators, so it leads one to believe that it is the machines fault! BAD Machines, Operators and Dealers come in all colors. But first you need an open mind to look at all brands equally. Or you won't find the GOOD and BAD in their products.

Was that an Nseries without return to cyclinderIJ I have finally worked out with mine after getting everything else right that it has tremendous capacity when temps are warm but goes to peices once it cool in the evening. This is in barley. I reckon while there is little going through returns it's fine but once grain that needs rethreshing goes back through it just builds up in an endless circle overlaoding the chaffer. Needless to say I will fit an returns to cylinder next year!!

I think I have this Santa, his sleigh, and the reindeer figured out. Santa wears a red suit rightIJ Does this make him a CaseIH or Massey mechanicIJ Concerning his sleigh, no matter what color it is,I think it is silver (Gleaner) and blue (Ford),it takes 8 and sometimes 9 deere to pull it with the driver and his gifts!! Eight to nine deeres to get the job doneIJ Oh well, Merry Christmas! T3

I will agree with you on the good and bad points but gleaner doesnt have a good point. sorry charlie. And when we cut corn it wasnt corn meal. Your brain has been rotted or washed away by those sorry piece of $*it gleaners people.
