But is it something we could start out using a 6 row head on and not just idle down the rowsIJ We figured it was a bit bigger than the 1680, we wanted something that was. YoungFeller

I run my 62 at 7 mph in 200 bushel corn w_ a 6 row head and can't find a kernal left on the ground. It has been "Hyped" though.

We run a stock R-62 with a 30' flex head and a 6 row corn head. I think it has more than enough power and capacity for a 8 row, may loose a little ground spead. But like one custom cutter I know says that you can never make up for width with ground speed. As for the 30' head there are time that I feel a little underpowered but most of the time we don't have any problems with that either.
