Thats a new one on me. Why would you want to remove itIJ If you are blowing grain or soys over the walkers you should lower the screen over the separator raddle. Tom in MN
Grain loss out back not a problem but if the machine gets plugged it seems that it orginates at the rear beater area. could they be doing because of that. I see in earlier post they comment some Ks Fs were removed some came with out. I could never understand what that beaters function was anyway. Anymore thought would be helpful.
seperator beaters were removed because in green stem soy beans they would wrap around the beater until it bent the excentric shaft early k-fs or slip clutch would go off on f2-l3. a dealer in east toledo Hank Dipman figured out that if you bent the beater sides so they almost rubbed the housing through the unplugger hole they would never wrap. i took some out also until he told us what to do and it curred all problems wrapping!!! we would bend the outer lip till it was centered and almost rubbing on the front side. only time i could tell any difference was when u go to wheat it did have a big effect on seperating and walker loss.is also the reason gleaner put them back in after 2 years without hope this sheds some light tom
Is your shaft moving toward the drive side of the separatorIJ This can happen if bearing lock collars arent gripping the shaft. You will notice the beater will not be centered in the separator housing and the slip clutch spring will lose its tension causing more slippage. Tom in MN
